Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation Research Symposium 2016
The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program of the National Science Foundation was established by Congressional mandate in 1991. The goals of LSAMP are to significantly increase the quality and quantity of minorities who successfully complete baccalaureate degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), and to increase the number of minority students who continue on to graduate studies in these fields.
The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Symposium 2016 featured several speakers, panelist, and presenters. Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson and Frances A. Cordova were among the list of great presenters.
